1. Introduction

Welcome to Colllab, a creator business network operated by Colllab Network LTD, a company incorporated in Israel ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at colllab.app (the "Service").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information You Provide

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Register for an account (name, email address, username, password)
  • Create and update your profile (bio, profile picture, banner image, social media links)
  • Create projects and add team members (project details, roles, media content)
  • Send messages through our platform
  • Connect with other users on the platform
  • Sign in with a third-party account (Google or Facebook) — we receive your name and email address from the provider (see Section 5)

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you access our Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited)
  • Authentication tokens and session information
  • Usage data (features used, interactions with content)

2.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use only essential cookies necessary for authentication and maintaining your session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Provide and maintain the Service: To operate and maintain your account and access to the platform
  • Communication: To send you updates, notifications, and respond to your inquiries
  • User connections: To enable collaboration features and connect you with other users
  • Content display: To display your public profile and projects to other users
  • Security: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and protect against unauthorized access
  • Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 Public Information

When you create a profile or project on Colllab, certain information is publicly visible, including:

  • Your username, profile picture, banner, and bio
  • Your projects, including titles, descriptions, media, and team members
  • Your role assignments on projects
  • Your social media links (if provided)

This information can be viewed by anyone accessing the Service and may be indexed by search engines.

4.2 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4.3 Service Providers

We share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication services
  • Neo4j: Graph database for user connections and relationships
  • Vercel: Hosting and deployment services

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

4.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

5. Third-Party Login and Meta Platform Data

You may create an account or sign in using Google or Facebook ("Third-Party Login"). If you choose this option, the provider shares certain profile information with us, limited to your name and email address. We use this information solely to create and identify your Colllab account and to sign you in — we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it beyond what is described in Section 4.

5.1 Facebook Login and Meta Platform Terms

Our use of Facebook Login, and any data obtained through it, is governed by Meta's Platform Terms and Meta's Data Policy. We only request the minimum permissions needed to sign you in (your name and email address), and we do not use this data to build a profile of you outside the Service, sell it, or share it with data brokers or advertisers.

5.2 Revoking Access

You can revoke Colllab's access to your Facebook or Google account at any time from that provider's own settings (for Facebook: Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites). Revoking access does not automatically delete your Colllab account — to remove your Colllab data entirely, delete your account as described in Section 8.3, or contact us at colllabapp@gmail.com.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Account Deletion: If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our databases. This includes:

  • Your profile information
  • Your authentication credentials
  • Your private messages and connections
  • Your project associations and roles

Please note that publicly shared content (projects, posts) may remain visible if other users have interacted with it, but your personal association will be removed. If you revoke Colllab's access to your Google or Facebook account from that provider's own settings, we delete the profile data we received from them.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure authentication and password hashing
  • Row-level security policies on our database
  • Regular security monitoring

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

8.1 Access and Portability

You can access and download your personal information through your account settings.

8.2 Correction

You can update or correct your profile information at any time through your account settings.

8.3 Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app: open Settings and select Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, authentication credentials, private messages, connections, and project associations — see Section 6 above for details. If you signed up via a third-party login (e.g. Google or Facebook) and no longer have access to the app, email colllabapp@gmail.com from the address on file to request deletion instead.

8.4 Marketing Communications

We do not currently send marketing communications. If we do in the future, you will have the option to opt out.

8.5 Do Not Track

We do not track users across third-party websites and do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

9. International Data Transfers

Colllab is operated from Israel. If you access the Service from outside Israel, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Israel or other countries where our service providers operate.

We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not register for an account or provide any personal information.

11. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
